Space Coast International School is a non-profit private secular school designed for the 21st century.

Using an inquiry-based curriculum driven by project-based and maker-centered learning, SCIS provides an interdisciplinary program with a strong emphasis in entrepreneurship and innovative learning. Our aim is to bring back the joy in teaching and learning such that our students and staff never want to a miss a day of school!

Combined, the founders of the school have 46 years of education experience in teaching and leading with master’s degrees in Educational Leadership and Reading Education. Each has spent 15 years teaching in International schools abroad.

International schools allow curriculum to be influenced by the most relevant research in learning. We chose to be an international school so that we can derive our program from the best research in the world and have the freedom to model our program after 21st century learning practices preparing our learners to thrive in a changing world.

We aspire to develop global mindedness as a lense through which our students explore the world. Our intention is to attract international and local students and staff from a variety of backgrounds and cultures bringing about a rich, diverse environment for learning.
